WELCOME
Welcome to "Shore Nuff." We are glad you are stopping by. We hope you enjoy your stay. Our family has been coming to the Outer Banks for over 30 years, and we love the area. Corolla is one of our favorite areas,... and we have been staying in the Corolla Light Community for the past several years. Our family originally purchased in the Mirage complex in Corolla Light, but moved to Lighthouse Villas because our family grew. We've stayed all over the island, but we found the Lighthouse Villas perfect for our family because it's an easy walk to the beach, the beachfront complex, and easy access to the sound for crabbing, kayaking, or breathtaking sunsets.

We purchased Shore Nuff in 2024. The unit was in the process of being renovated, but it needed some TLC. We are constantly trying to bring it up to date. For the 2024 rental season, we replaced all bedroom furniture, patio furniture, and living room furniture. We are planning our renovations for 2025, so please let us know your thoughts.

Directions:
Follow Route 12 through Duck and into Corolla. If you see Wings or Ace Hardware, you are about three miles away from the townhouse. Follow Route 12. Go past the Sports Center on the left and make a right onto Austin Street. There is a guard house on the right. If anyone is there, tell them you are renting 1122 Currituck Ct. Go past the pond and turn right onto Villa Court. Turn left onto Currituck Court. Drive past the first row of houses on the right. We are the first house on the second row of townhouses.
Checkin, Checkout
Checkin:
Checkin is at 4pm (if ready early, you will receive a notification from us). Check in at the front desk of the Corolla Light Sports Center using the unit number (612) which is located across the road from the condo unit. You will receive wristbands and parking passes for Corolla Light.

Prior to arriving, you will be issued a PIN that you can use to unlock the deadbolt lock.

Checkout:
Checkout is at 10am. Complete the BEFORE YOU LEAVE CHECKLIST to make sure you don't forget anything.
Getting In
The townhouse is equipped with two smart locks. You will be provided a code to enter the condo before check in. ​
Enter the code and click on the ULTRALOQ logo. You will hear it unlocking.

Your code will work on both the front door lock and the downstairs patio lock.
Trash, Recycling
There are three trash bins and one recycling bin. The blue bins are trash and the green bins are recycling. Please leave the trash and recycling bins outside so that Corolla Light staff will can move the bins on trash day.
Parking
The townhouse has a driveway that has space for two cars to park. Additionally, there should be room in the garage for another car.

Your Corolla Light parking pass must be displayed on the dashboard of your car when parking within the resort. Parking at the Oceanfront complex is first-come, first-serve, and is limited to 20 cars.
Trash, Recycling
There are three trash bins and one recycling bin. The blue bins are trash and the green bins are recycling. Please leave the trash and recycling bins outside so that Corolla Light staff will can move the bins on trash day. In the offseason, trash day is Wednesdays. During the high season, it is Monday and Friday.
Laundry
The townhouse is equipped with laundry. The washer and dryer located in the hall closet across from the kitchen.
There is an iron and ironing board located in the hall closet for your use. We provide laundry detergent.
Fireplaces
There is one fireplace in the main living area. It is wood burning. It has not been inspected or repaired yet, so please do not use it.

The townhouse has 4 Roku TVs which provide access to live television via Youtube TV. See below.

There is no phone in the townhouse.
Music:
There are two Echos in the house that you can ask to play music. One is in the TV room, the other is in the top bedroom. If you are uncomfortable with it, just unplug it. Otherwise, just ask Alexa to play music.
Thermostat
There are two Nest thermostats.
One is on the first floor outside the bunk bedroom. The other is on the 3rd floor landing. During the summer , please keep the thermostat set at 71 or above. In the offseason, if you prefer to have the windows open, please turn off the thermostat.

The resort has pools everywhere in season. Our favorite is the ocean side pool with the Oceanside Grille.
We've Cut the Cord
Streaming TVs in the condo
We've cut the cord and we aren't going back. After years of paying for subpar TV service and equipment from cable companies, we have set up live TV streaming throughout the condo. There are four TVs in the condo and each is a Roku TV. Each has a labeled remote. Be careful to not lose them, they are very small remotes and hard to find.

If you are new to cutting the cord, this will at least give you a chance to try it out.
REMOTE
The remote controls both the TV and the Fire TV.
To turn on or off the television - Press the power button which is the button on the top left of the remote.
To increase or lower the volume - Press the +/- arrows or you can mute the TV using the Mute button on the bottom.

The rest of the buttons are used to go to the home screen, check settings, go back, or to pause, rewind, and fast forward live or on demand programming.
LIVE TV
We subscribe to Youtube TV which is an app you will see on the Amazon Fire Home Screen. You can watch 70+ live and on-demand TV channels including sports, news, and more. Channels include local channels, ESPN channels, Disney Jr, TBS, CNN, Fox News, etc. If you want an accurate list, go to the Youtube TV website and search for the lineup for zip code 27927. ​

When you click on the app, you should already be logged in, but in case it isn't, please text us and we will give you the login information. From the Home screen, there is Live TV and On Demand shows you can watch.
NETFLIX
If you subscribe to other services that are accessible from the FireTV, you can download and configure the applications with your credentials. Just please remember to log out prior to leaving the condo.
